ResearchPocket

Product overview

A private place for the useful parts of the web.

ResearchPocket saves URLs together with the title, note, tags, and favorite state you choose. The library works offline and remains on your device unless you explicitly connect private sync.

38-second tour

From one-keystroke capture to private sync.

See the browser and terminal share one local-first library, with no ResearchPocket server or tracking in the owner app.

01

Capture

Save a URL quickly, then add only the context that helps you find it again.

02

Curate

Search and refine your own titles, private notes, tags, favorites, and archive.

03

Sync

Optionally carry immutable updates through one private GitHub repository.

Local-first by design

Your devices build the library.

IndexedDB and SQLite remain local materialized views. Private sync transports immutable CRDT updates, so application state converges without Git deciding which edit wins.

There is no ResearchPocket account, hosted application database, advertising profile, analytics script, or AI-generated memory feed.
